From Araphesh to Zuni: A Book of Bibleless Peoples

What a great way to start our 26 weeks of prayer.  The Kola Lapp people and their reindeer filled my children with delight!

Things to do:

1.    Watch this YouTube video.  The Kola Lapp people now herd their reindeer using 4-wheelers.

 

 

 

2.    Color a picture of a reindeer.  While the kids colored, I taught them a bit about reindeer.  Here are the links I used:

3.   Read “The Reindeer People” by Ted Lewin (found at local library).  This book provides a wealth of interesting information.

4.   Map it.  Don’t forget to print off a map and locate each people group.  We also found the location on a globe.

 

5.   My husband was given deer sausage and so we ate like the Kola Lapp!

 

6.   Pray.  Begin by encouraging your child to tell God some of her favorite things about the Kola Lapp.
